Hanging Lanterns
Our solid brass and solid copper hanging lanterns may be used both inside and outside. These decorative hanging lanterns are often used in covered porches, hallways, over tables, and in stairwells.
Those lights using Candelabra bulbs accommodate 60 watt candelabra bulbs, while the Other lights shown accommodate Medium Base Bulbs. One might consider the seedy marine glass or clear seedy glass in some of the hanging lanterns, as it is very attractive as well as drawing one’s eye away from staring at the lightbulb.
The Hanging Lanterns are not lacquered so will naturally patina over time.
If used indoors, the aging process is significantly slower.
Hanging Lanterns include 10 inches of plated Chain and Canopy.
If a Hanging Lantern is being used outside, please advise as solid brass chain can be used for an additional charge. Also, many of our Hanging Lanterns can be handcrafted with a downrod especially in an area where there may be high wind. Please call to discuss.
