CCL2521 7″ Glass Onion Wall Lantern Caged
$681.25 – $869.50
This CCL2521 7” Glass Onion Wall Lantern Caged is pictured here in Antique Brass with clear glass. It accommodates a medium base bulb and is lit from the top. The Antique Brass is not lacquered so will darken and weather to a beautiful natural patina!
IMPORTANT NOTE: All Onion Lanterns come apart with thumb screws for ease in cleaning and replacement of light bulb.
The origins of the Onion lanterns date back to the whaling ships and fishing vessels of years gone by. The name “onion lantern” came about because of the shape of the glass.
The onion glass is a hand-blown globe, and casts a lot of light all around! Very popular in seaside areas…especially on Cape Cod! Folks in different parts of the country are now using them both inside and outside on many home styles because of the amount of light they show, as well as the uniqueness of this lantern.
The onion lights are commonly used outdoors near one’s front door, side doors, decks, porch areas, as well as inside in bedrooms, hallways, bathrooms, etc.

Dear Craig & Debbie,
Huntington Beach has a whole new look on our end of town now that Tom has finally gotten our post and home lanterns hung. I absolutely love our lights and think of Chatham each day I pull into the driveway. We cannot thank you enough for the new look and wonderful summer baseball memories that we enjoy each time we look at your lanterns. Your work is great and we thank you for sharing your artistry with us. Our son David Huff will be playing for the Chatham A’s if he doesn’t make the USA Nationals team. Either way, we’ll be back to Chatham and its charm before too much time passes.
Our many thanks,
